Description

Rounded, densely branching tree that reaches 25' to 45' in height. White flowers in 2" to 3" long racemesare produced abundantly in early- to mid-May. Black fruits are 1/5" in diameter, ripening in August. Attractive bark ranges from rich cinnamon-brown to reddish-brown or brownish-yellow, often exfoliating.
