Plants reach 10' in height and 12' in width with a densely compact growth habit and branches to the ground. Glossy medium green foliage forms a tight, rounded crown; bark exfoliates to reveal shades of cinnamon and reddish brown (DS 464). The original plant, estimated to be 15-20 years old was selected by King Nursery, Oswego, IL in the late 1970's.
