Description

Plants 90-180cm in height, glabrous or slightly hairy, never glaucous. Leaves long-lanceolate to lanceolate-oblong, to 20cm long and 1.5-4.7cm wide, gradually tapering to the base, somewhat scabrous above, glabrous or slightly pubescent below. Flowers dull purple, the heads about 12mm across, held in open cymes.
