Description

Tree reaching 20' to 30' in height and 15' to 20' in width (can attain 60' to 90' in height). Compact,spire-like, broadly pyramidal tree in youth, with a straight stem and horizontal branches spreading inwhorls, stiff and twiggy, the young branchlets with the leaves crowded at the ends. With age the branchesbecome more pendulous and spreading, and the whole habit more loose.
