Lobelia inflata
This plant’s native range spans the eastern half of the United States and southern Canada. It is a culturally significant plant to the Crow people of present-day Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota who use it in spiritual ceremonies. The Haudenosaunee people of New York have made a strong tea with the leaves to purge the bowels.
