Rubus spectabilis
 
Salmonberry is endemic to the Pacific Northwest extending north into Alaska and Canada, and southward to Washington, Idaho, Oregon and parts of California and is widely used for food among Indigenous Peoples in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The berries are eaten fresh, made into jams and jellies, and added to cakes or dried. It is traditionally used along with wild parsnip, gooseberry and rose used in ceremonial dances by the Nuxalk Peoples of the central coast of present-day British Columbia and the Quileute Tribe of present-day Washington.
