Watch a lecture by noted entomology and wildlife ecology professor Doug Tallamy about how to keep common birds common. In Cornell Botanic Gardens’ Elizabeth E. Rowley Lecture, Tallamy describes the challenges facing our common birds and simple changes we can make to keep them alive and well. Author of numerous books including “Bringing Nature Home,” “Nature’s Best Hope,” and “How Can I Help,” Tallamy lays out steps everyone can take to create bird-friendly habitats. 

This lecture is part of a 2026 collaboration between Cornell Botanic Gardens, wildlife photographer Marie Read, and Mann Library.
