Christopher Dunn, recently retired executive director of Cornell Botanic Gardens, was honored with American Public Gardens Association most prestigious award: 2026 Honorary Life Member. The award recognizes his more than 50 years of contributions to plant ecology, biology, and public gardens. 

Presented to individuals who have provided meritorious service to the American Public Gardens Association over the length of their distinguished careers, the award honors Christopher's uncommon devotion to the field of public horticulture and his leadership that advanced the mission of public gardens everywhere.
