Description

A very hardy form from the Black Hills of South Dakota; slow-growing and of dense, symmetrical habit, sometimes erroneously grown as var. albertiana (DS 3). A slow-growing, conical form reaching 20' to 40' in height after 40 to 80 years; much denser and more ornamental than the species.
