Description

Small perennial, forming a dense, erect clump 5-15 cm high with erect, sparsely branched, slender stems. Leaves 6-9 mm long, oblong to ovate-spatulate, more or less pubescent, petioled towards the base of the stem, sessile towards the apex. Flowers solitary on slender stems; corolla tubular with4-lobed, flairing lobes, about 1 cm across, light blue or violet, or nearly white with a yellow eye, blooming from April to June.
