Description
Perennial. Tendrils 3-5-fid. Leaves 10-12cm, orbicular, often deeply 5-lobed, lobes oblong, with deep sinuses, lobulate, punctate-scabrous above, glabrescent above; petiole 3-4cm, scabrous. Male flowers in racemes 15-18cm; pedicels 1-3mm, often with solitary flower on long pedicle; bracts to 2cm, toothed, calyx lobes linear, entire c12mm, finely hairy; corolla lobes obovvate, deeply cut; female flowers solitary; pedicel 3mm. Fruit to 10cm, ovoid to oblong, orange-red; seeds to 16 x 10mm, numerous, pale brown.
