Description
Graceful, broad-spreading, round topped shrub with arching branches; more delicate, and more profuse in flower than S. vulgaris. Flowers purple-lilac, fragrant, borne in mid May in large and loose 4-6"longpanicles. Plants 8-15' tall and as wide. One of the more handsome hybrid lilacs.
