Description
This annual herb has an unmistakable strong, sharp scent and taste that has become the staple ingredient in salsa and other Mexican dishes. A very quick grower, 'Longstanding' is the slowest to bolt of all cultivars. This variety sports 2- to 4" pale cream umbels, which eventually set seed. The heads can be cut and then dried to harvest the seeds as coriander for use in Asian dishes and curries.
