Description
Annual or perennial, 50-130cm, erect; stems glabrous, ribbed. Leaves 25-120x4-15mm, linear to ovate or oblong, entire, Inflorescence sometimes branching, to 60cm; bracts persistent; flowers yellow or yellow-green; pedicel to 1mm; superior petal 4-8-lobed, clawed, inferior petal 4-lobed, claw sometimes absent; stamens 20-40; ovary ovoid, 3-toothed. Capsule 3-4x5-6mm, obovate, deeply sulcate, 3-toothed; seed to 1mm, dark brown, glossy.
