Description
Erect, medium tall, rough-hairy perennial; rhizome fleshy, cylindrical, with stolons. Stems rough-hairy,0.4 to 1.2 m tall, lower leaves 30 cm long, 20 cm wide, strigose-hairy, long-petioled, cordate, acuminate;upper leaves ovate-lanceolate, narrow at the base. Flowers on long peduncles in many-flowered cymes,purple-violet to sky-blue, borne in May and June.
