Description
Stems erect, to 50cm, produced from a stout rootstock. Leaves ovate to elliptic, toothed, four to a stem, a few borne toward stem apex. Flowers produced in terminal panicles, fertile flowers numerous, pale mauve to lilac-blue, large and nodding, sterile flowers smaller; style 1-5 branched, stamens blue.
