Open, vigorous tree, reaching 30' to 40' in height; wide-spreading. Flowers pink in bud, opening to white,1 3/4" diameter, fragrant, flowering well in alternate years. Fruit bright red to purple, almost fluorescent,1 1/4" diameter, ripening in July and falling by late August; can be used for jelly. Disease resistant, butwith slight scab and fireblight susceptibility.
