Description

Stems to 8' or sometimes more, flexible, usually arching, purple-spotted, glabrous; leaves alternate,many, crowded, lanceolate to 6" long, those just below the inflorescence ovate, shorter, flowers 4 to 20 in a loose raceme, to 3" long, orange, spotted with brown, papillose, segments strongly reflexed, anthers dark orange.
