Description

Dwarf form, oval, branches crowded, upright, twigs densely crowded and wide spreading, yellow-white, very small and thin, annual growth 5-10mm, buds very small, globose, enveloped by the needles, yellow-brown, lateral buds outspread; needles usually radially arranged on the branch tips, but more parted on the older shoots, 4-8mm long, light yellow-green with distinctly yellow tips, stiff and thick, often curved, somewhat sickle-shaped. Discovered in 1928 by Mrs M. Seiffert-Orff in upper Bavaria, Germany.
