Description

To 5'; hardy to -25 degrees F.; midseason blooming; ARS rating 3/3/4. Plant compact, densely foliaged with thin tannish-brown indumentum; new growth and buds conspicuously indumented. White flowers open from fresh pink buds, resembling the inflorescence of R. yakushimanum. This clone flowered after -32 degrees F. in 1961. (David G. Leach, 1962).
