Description

To 2.5', hardy to -15 degrees F., midseason blooming. Buds light purplish pink opening to white flowers with light brown spotting, held in trusses of 13-17. Dwarf plant spreading twice as wide as tall; deep green leaves with tan indumentum are retained 3 years; new growth white-tomentose. (Selection of Ernest Allen; intro. by H.E. Greer; reg. 1976). C.A. (A.R.S.) 1975. (DS 103) Buds at a younger age, more heavily, and more easily than most yak clones. Leaves longer, narrower, and more convex than those of most yak clones. (DS 102).
