Zen Magnolia

Description

Flowers are larger (5") and much more colored than the species. Flowers have a very strong purplish pink stripe up the tepals and are fragrant as well. This is the earliest blooming species we have here in North Carolina. Flowers of the species are extremely frost tolerant.
