Verdant Views is a new videocast series, hosted by Kevin Moss of Cornell Botanic Gardens. Each episode focuses on a different topic related to plants, gardens, conservation, and the vital connections between plants and peoples around the world. In this live encore presentation of our first episode, we meet Pam Shade, curator of the Robison Herb Garden at Cornell Botanic Gardens, for an exploration of Central and South American herbs that will tantalize your taste buds! You’ll learn about some herbs that have become commercially available, as well as some not so familiar that are used to flavor traditional and contemporary food and beverages in Central and South America. Recipes and tips are included for those interested in expanding the flavor profiles of your meals.
