Description
Perennial to 150cm; aerial parts smooth or faintly striated; stems soft, erect or arching, densly tufted, with red-brown basal sheaths. Leaves all basal, cylindrical, equalling stems. Inflorescence a diffuse cyme, to 5cm long; perianth segments to 3mm, pale brown or yellow-green, obtuse, shorter than perianth; seeds to 0.5mm, ovoid, reticulate.
