Description

Roots tuberous. Stems 50-100 cm, erect, more or less arching or occasionally slightly scandent above, minutely pubescent in upper part. Leaves 5-10cm across, usually 3-cleft, glabrous, sements obovate-rhombic, more or less coarsely dentate, obtuse. Inflorescence laxly corymbose, terminal and lateral; pedicels glabrous or hairy; flowers 3cm, few, blue-purple or somewhat tinged red; helmet conic, abruptly mucronate, beak straight, acute. Follicles 3-5, mostly glabrous.
