Description
The Japanese counterpart to our native A. racemosa, or spikenard. This perennial dies to the ground each year. The bright yellow foliage is beautiful from spring to fall; in morning sun to light shade it holds the yellow color, turning to chartreuse in heavier shade. Easy in any good soil but not drought-tolerant.
