Description

To 30cm. Leaves 2, leaflets 15-20cm, 3, broad-ovate, long-acuminate, apex filiform, glossy green; petiole green or tinged purple, exceeding peduncle. Spathe tube to 3.5cm, obconic, green to purple, striped white or pale green, limb sharply incurved, helmet-shaped, purple or green, sometimes striped, auriculate at junction with tube, auricles deep chocolate or black-purple; spadix enclosed in spathe, stipitate, erect or curved, cylindric, white to pale yellow.
