Description

Astilbe 'Radius' starts in the spring with foliage that emerges dark red and then matures to dark green. It blooms profusely in midsummer when the dark red flower buds open to deep rose-red plumes. Can be grown in full sun or full shade, but prefers a moist to boggy soil which does not dry out in the summer.
