Description
Rhizomatous perennial with villous to glandular-pubescent stems; leaves to 20 cm, basal, oblanceolate to elliptic, entire, fairly thick, glabrous to white-pilose, the stem leaves smaller. Inflorescence cymose, the ray florets purple or violet, the disc florets yellow, effective in late summer into autumn.
