Description

Handsome deeply cut, hairy, rounded leaves, often richly tinted in autumn. Copius violet-blue flowersare darkly veined. Plants 2' tall and wide (DS 100). The foliage of this hybrid is very like that of G.ibericum and the plant is best distinguished by its failure to ripen seed, and by the mixture of moderatelylong glandular and very long eglandular hairs on the pedicels providing one is comparing it with theeglandular G. ibericum subsp. ibericum, and not with G. ibericum subsp. jubatum (DS 57).
