Description
Plant: small sized, 19 in. (48 cm) diameter, 8 in. (20 cm) high, mound-like, with a fast growth rate. Leaf: 2.5 in. (6.4 cm) long, 1.25 in. (3.2 cm) wide; 4 pairs of veins; medium green with a slightly rippled margin and with a medium green with purple spotting at base of petiole; dull on top, very shiny underneath; lightly wavy, lance, tapered base. Scape: 18-29 in. (46-74 cm) long; medium green. Flower: 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm) long, pale purple; dark purple stripes inside; tubular; Manlius, NY: 7/7-8/3-8/12 (*codes: 4-5-5) Seed: sets seeds, viability is unknown; pod is medium green with fine purple stripes.
