Description

Medium sized plants to 18" tall by 36" wide, leaves are 7" long by 4" wide, shiny medium green; with whitish shiny undersides; blades elliptic and moderately wavy; smooth textured; average substance; 8-10 vein pairs. Flowers in early to late August; pale purple, darker in bud; 2.25" long by 1 1/8" wide; wide-open funnel shape; many 28" , reddish-colored scapes; develops a few pods. One of the best hostas for flower effect.
