Description

Stems short to almost lacking; leaves sword-shaped, to 4" long in flower, elongating to 8"; spathes 1- to2-flowered; perianth tube 2" to 3" long, usually longer than stem segments, varying from yellow to bright or dark lilac, falls reflexed, oblong, about 2" long, beard bluish, white, or yellow, standards oblong, 2"long.
