Description
Annual herb, sweetly scented, 15-60cm. Stems erect or ascending, usually much-branched above. Leaves 4-7cm; segments acute, well separated. Capitula radiate, 1 to 120, 1-2.5cm diameter; peduncles 3-10cm; recepticle conical, hollow; phyllaries with pale margin; ray florets 10-20, white, soon deflexed, 6-9 x 2-3mm, occasionally absent. Fruits 1mm, pale grey; papus very small or absent, rarely conspicuous.
