Description

Herb to 60cm. Stems erect, glabrous. Leaves biternate, leaflets to 6cm and over, unequal, base broadly oval or oblong, cuneate, apex abruptly acuminate, dark green, glabrous above, glaucous, sparsly hairy beneath, terminal leaflet obovate. Flowers cup shaped, to 10cm diameter; petals obovate, white; filaments pink-red; carpels 2-3, to 2cm, glabrous, stigma coiled. Fruit to 3.5cm.
