Description

An extremely tall selection of the native Obedient Plant, with 6-7’ towering bloom spikes. Physostegia is a well-known spreader, particularly in wet areas. 'Eyeful Tower' does not, however, spread in correspondence with its larger height; it's less invasive than the straight species. Lavender-pink, tubular flowers bloom in succession up the stalk in late summer, attracting butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Give this great giant some space in a wet natural area, or mixed with other tall perennials in a sunny meadow bed.
