Description
Like P. orbiculare but always with sessile, ovate to broadly lanceolate upper stem leaves. P. orbiculare description: the erect slender stems usually about 30cm high but sometimes less or much more. Basal leaves variable in shape from narrowly lanceolate to rounded or heart-shaped, toothed and longish-stalked. Flowers blue-violet to blue, strongly curved inwards in bud creating a dense globular head up to 2.5cm across, summer.
