Description
Deciduous shrub to 3m. Leaves to 15cm, elliptic to obovate, abruptly acuminate, glossy green. Flowers solitary, terminal, to 7cm diameter, nodding; sepals and petals some 10 per whorl, loose, those of outer whorl white sometimes tinted pink, those of inner whorl smaller, pale yellow fading to white at base with maroon markings.
