Description

Upright shrub reaching 6 m in height. Branches rough hairy, pith brown, narrow. Leaves oval-elliptic,acuminate, 4 cm to 10 cm long, rough above, densely gray tomentose beneath. Flowers yellowish-white in loose cymes to 8 cm wide, borne in June and July. Fruits white, globose, 5 mm to 6 mm across; seedglobose. Has only slight garden merit.
