Description

This selection of Giant Gray Dogwood was selected from a group of seedlings at Klyn Nurseries. It has the same overall habit of the species but when it blooms the clusters of flowers are a soft saffron yellow displayed against a background of dark green glossy foliage. In late summer and early fall the fruit develop into clear yellow that contrast nicely against the clean dark green foliage. By October the fruit is displayed against the changing foliage colors in shades of burgundy, red and orange. After the fruit drop, red pedicels remain continuing the autumn display. 15-20' tall and 10-15' wide.
