Description

Tall shrub or multi-stemmed tree reaching 15 m in the wild. Branches yellowish or reddish, leaves elliptic-ovate to elliptic-oblong, 10-16 cm long, long-acuminate, dark green and glabrous above, bluish beneath with appressed pubescence, vein pairs 6-8. Flowers yellowish-white, held in rounded,panicle-like cymes, 8-15 cm wide, effective in July and August. Fruits blue-black, globose, 6 mm across.
