It typically grows to 3-4™ tall and as wide. Small, funnel-shaped, slightly fragrant, white flowers bloom in early spring followed by cylindrical, teardrop-shaped, dark blue berries (to 1 1/2" long) which ripen in May-June. Fruit may be eaten directly off the bush or harvested for use in jams, pies or juices. Gray-green leaves are attractive throughout the growing season.
