Description

To 5'; hardy to -20 degrees F.; mid to late season blooming. Flowers roseine purple with a bold dorsalblotch of ruby red, widely funnel-shaped, 3.25" across, borne in spherical trusses of 12-14. Plant rounded, broader than tall; dark green leaves 5" long are held 2 years. (David G. Leach, intro. 1973; reg. 1983).
