Description
To 3', hardy to -20 degrees F., midseason blooming, A.R.S. rating 4/5. Slightly faster growing than otherforms of this species. Buds very deep pink, opening to apple blossom pink, then white; flowers openlyfunnel-shaped, 2.5 " across, 5 wavy lobes, in ball-shaped trusses of 14-17. Plant broad, well branched; stems and winter buds grey. Leaves typical of the species; 5.75" long, with heavy greyed orangeindumentum, held 5 years. (Seed from Francis Hanger, R.H.S.; selected and raised by David G. Leach; reg. 1983).
