Description
Deciduous shrub reaching 10' in height; leaves elliptic, to 3" long, toothed, slightly pubescent aboveand on veins below, veins and petioles reddish; flowers white or pinkish, held in 2" long panicled cymes,fragrant, opening before the leaves expand.
