A pink-flowered, winter-hardy selection from Iowa (DS 9). A selection made from a seedling population ofWeigela florida by J.L. Weigle and A.R. Beck at Iowa State University (notes taken from C.P. 1974-75accession book, which in turn probably came from the National Arboretum 1975 plant distribution list).
