Description
This deciduous shrub grows 1.8 to 3m tall. The ascending outside stems root at the nodes in contact with the ground and ultimately form thickets. Leaves are a lusterous dark green and appear to be resistant to leaf spots even under the high humidity of a summer shade house. The leaves turn a brilliant wine red in the fall. The summer fruits are creamy white. The stems are a brilliant red in fall and winter. Probable USDA zone 3.
