Description
Small, deciduous tree reaching 6 m in height, often only alarge shrub with erect branches. Young shoots scarlet, oftenwith reddish hairs or downy; mature branches speckled red andgray, later completely gray. Leaves 5-lobed with conspicuous,reticulate veins, turning golden-yellow in autumn.
