Description

Shrub or tree to 30' in height. Leaves 1" to 1 1/2" (rarely to 2") long, abruptly mucronate at apex, dark green above, with about 15 rows of stomata on each glaucous band below, 2-ranked and forming a v-shaped trough on the branchlets. Seeds green, almond-shaped, about 1" long. Has not proven deer resistant for us.
