Description

Upright, vigorous, single-trunked, with uniformly spreading branches, reaching 17.75' in height and 14.5' in width in 19 years. Effective blooming period begins a few days after that of 'Ruftan' (Stardust); floral bracts rounded to obovate with acute -tinged tips are initially green-tipped and cupped, gradually becoming white and flattened; sterile. Fall color variable. Highly resistant to dogwood anthracnose and common dogwood borer.
